Looking Up at the Rose [Older Sister's Younger Brother Romance]

Blurb:

Years later, Lu Cen reunites with Lu Xiwei at her stepfather's funeral. She has long since lost her sharp edges and fiery spirit, now gentle and clear as a pool of autumn water.

He turns his head and, through the curling incense smoke, catches sight of a dark red rose at her temple. His heart suddenly clenches. There should have been a stitched scar there. Overcome by complicated feelings, he blurts out, "Sister."

She doesn't even raise her eyelids. Calmly lighting the incense, she purses her red lips and blows on it, then spits out a contemptuous "Get lost." His whole body stiffens, his face flushing red. It turns out she hasn't changed at all. This is the Lu Xiwei he remembers, the one who teased him, bullied him, and hated him for ten years.

**

Lu Cen was fifteen when Lu Xiwei disappeared. In the eyes of the neighbors, she was Cinderella, suffering under an abusive biological father, a wicked stepmother, and a cold younger brother.

But Lu Cen knows better than anyone that she was never a helpless little flower. She was a terrifying demon with fangs and claws. The worst part is that he actually yearns for the demon's presence and warmth.

Whether in the past or now, his feelings have never changed!
