Jiang Nanxing was arrested on a charge of intentional murder.
The Alliance's Fourth Prison was a friendly place, with excellent food and private rooms with big beds. Aside from the neighbors occasionally howling, everything was pretty nice.
But before long, Jiang Nanxing ran into his neighbors somewhere else...
Jiang Nanxing: "Whoa, you guys have another side to you?"
Later, new inmates kept arriving at Fourth Prison, and the screams became nonstop.
Freshman: "Why does everyone look like they're in pain every day?"
Senior: "Because there's a devil in that place."
Jiang Nanxing: "What devil? I've never seen one."

Gu Lianzhen, head of the Intelligence Group at the Alliance Inspection Bureau, risked suspension to investigate a string of disappearances.
All the evidence pointed to an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of town.
A faded advertisement, still strangely alluring, clung to the rolling shutter:
"Grand Prosperity Manor, now welcoming franchisees."
Gu Lianzhen reached out, tore down the ad, and tossed it into a trash can.
"What a goddamn eyesore. Today, your Uncle Gu is cleaning this whole place out!"
