After Becoming the Foil to the Most Desirable Guy in the BL World

[1]

Reborn as an Actor is a novel about a top gong who gets off to a great start and enjoys smooth sailing all the way to the top.

Of course, a heaven-blessed prodigy like him needs a foil: someone who gets off to a great start, only to completely squander a winning hand.

The top gong is upright and disciplined, with an eight-pack; the foil is dissolute and frail.

The top gong is quick-witted and clever, praised as the ideal gong; the foil has a head full of water, and everyone avoids him.

The top gong...

Shen Xinglan transmigrates into that foil.

And not just that: he arrives after "he" has already thrown away his winning hand.

Shen Xinglan, who was just as much of an ideal gong in his original world: "..."

His brows furrow sharply.

After doing a series of stupid things and becoming the target of the entire internet, the eldest young master of the Shen family suddenly grows quiet and low-key.

Netizens assume he is trying to salvage his rock-bottom image a little, but a month later...

(Original novel) Top Gong: "Xinglan is the person I admire most. It's an honor to have crossed paths with him and become his friend."

(Original novel) Top Shou: "Brother Shen has helped me so much on my journey."

Famous fashion designer: "Shen is my most precious muse."

Everyone is dumbfounded and frantically tries to dig up what happened over the past month. But as they gradually get to know him, they can't help falling into the rabbit hole of becoming Shen fans.
