My Days as the King of the Insectoid

Lin Xi thought he was about to embrace death. When he opened his eyes, he found a row of men standing before him, all looking at him with intense anticipation.

Beside him stood a man in casual clothes. After Lin Xi had stayed silent for a long while, the man asked gently, “Your Majesty, which insect would you like to choose as your consort?”

Lin Xi: “...What?” Insects? A consort?

Only later did Lin Xi learn that he had become the next king of the insect race, soon to take the throne.

Handsome, stunning seme x spirited, gentle uke. An unconventional insect-race story.

Below is a forthcoming story. Visit the author's page to see it.

"I'm the King of the Insect Race!"

[Part One]

Lin Xi was in the middle of choosing a consort when, in a moment of mental distraction, he ended up thousands of years in the future.

A world... he wasn't used to at all.

Why was there a gender called an androgyne? Why were marriages now between one male and one female? Why...

I'm the king of the insect race. Why should I follow these absurd laws? They even want me to be faithful to just one insect?

Later, after discovering all the colorful entertainment this world had to offer, Lin Xi: “...”

This is great.

Why would I need so many female insects? Wouldn't they just get in the way of my games?

[Part Two]

At first, the insects on the Interstellar Network only mocked this male insect who had suddenly appeared. His ideas were ancient, and even his name matched that of a king from long ago.

This insect must have something wrong with his head.

Didn't they change the marriage system thousands of years ago? What kind of nonsense is he thinking?

Gradually, as they got to know this unusual male insect better, they all changed their minds.

“I'd go for Lin Xi! I'd be fine with one male and multiple females! I want to lay eggs for you!”

Comments like these flooded Starblog.

But by then, it was too late.

One female insect who had made her move early wore a provocative, proud smile.
