[Completed on August 22; the latter half was locked after publication. Thanks to all my readers ovo]

[Coming next: "Failed to Pretend I Don't Know My Ex [Entertainment Industry]": a rebellious screenwriter x a cold-on-the-outside, warm-on-the-inside actor. See my profile for the blurb.]

1.

Wei Yanyun considers himself an ordinary person who goes with the flow. He followed the expected path at every turn and successfully became a single man well past the usual age for marriage.

Two things about him are a little unusual: he's an Omega, and he likes Omegas.

Then he met an even more unusual blind date: a male Alpha who likes to wear women's clothes.

When Wei Yanyun politely turned him down, his date said, "Sorry, I can't change the first thing, but I'll try to destroy the second."

Wei Yanyun: ? You're awfully confident.

Then he discovered that nothing in this world was impossible to change. Even a gorgeous Alpha could change him.

Gorgeous Alpha: "Kisses, hubby! Where are we going today?"

Still the gorgeous Alpha: "I have a friend who says he's had a crush on you for ages."

And then there was... no, that wasn't him.

Wei Yanyun's smile froze. "Hi, boss."

Cold Beta: "Director Wei, please focus on your work."

While Wei Yanyun was hopelessly obsessed with his date's good looks, the man gave him a little surprise.

The Alpha who dressed to kill was his cold Beta boss.

He wore different masks around Wei Yanyun, but Wei Yanyun was determined to make those masks one and the same.

2.

Director Wei personally handles every detail. He arrives at the office with a file in hand. "Mr. Fang, I need your signature on this."

Young Mr. Fang's voice is tense. "Just a moment."

The blinds are drawn, but through the gaps, Wei Yanyun can make out something red, unlike the black-and-white suits: a pleated skirt.

Wei Yanyun's lips curl into a smile. On his still-lit phone screen is a message from his blind date, sent a minute ago: I'll be there as soon as I change.

Well, watching your boss split into two personalities is fun. Knocking on his door while he's changing into women's clothes is even more fun.

A cold-faced, warm-hearted Alpha who pretends to be a Beta and loves women's clothes (Fang Jingran/Fang Jingwen) x a cunning, scheming, elite Omega who pretends to be clueless (Wei Yanyun)

Reader's guide:

1. Alpha and Omega switch roles. There are some original settings, and no children. The Alpha's cross-dressing runs throughout the story.

2. The cross-dressing Alpha turns an Omega who isn't quite gay all the way gay. The characters may seem to have their roles reversed at first. The characters aren't perfect, but this is fundamentally a sweet and satisfying story.

Theme: Be honest and don't deceive each other. Love doesn't have to be hard.
