Top-tier star Shi Du only wanted to play professionally. After his mother forced him into an arranged marriage, he finally won the freedom to pursue a job.

On his way to try out for a team, Shi Du stopped to register his marriage, without even noticing what his partner looked like.

On his first day joining the team he had his heart set on, captain Zhou Zhinan seemed to have it in for him, so Shi Du politely tried to break the ice.

Who knew the captain would blurt out:

"You don't even know who I am?"

Shi Du got mad. "Why should I know who you are? Don't try that bullying crap on me."

Zhou Zhinan: "…"

Then one day, Shi Du saw his new spouse at a family gathering.

Zhou Zhinan: "Do you know who I am now?"

Shi Du: "…"

Zhou Zhinan is the KPL's Jungler of the Year, but he has never won a championship...

In four years as a pro, he became a top-tier star across the KPL and led his teammates to six finals, yet still never managed to lift the trophy.

It wasn't that he wasn't good enough. His teammates were just dead weight.

Then along came the strongest rookie, the genius marksman Shi Du, who reached his peak the moment he debuted.

The night before the finals, a fan of Zhou's former teammate posted on a forum: "LG's young boss is bullying the rookie, the jungle and marksman don't get along, they keep arguing on stream and pulling sour faces. A team like this will never win a championship!"

Zhou Zhinan replied under his real name: "Thanks for asking. We're getting along fine. We haven't split up."

Teammates who had witnessed the two arguing: Captain, are you thinking of leaving the team...

Then, in the finals, the two of them took on five opponents in the Dragon pit and won the championship. Zhou Zhinan posted on Weibo:

"The championship and you arrived right on schedule, @Shi Du."

He even attached their wedding photo.

The entire esports scene: "… So the one they didn't split up with was their spouse!?"
