Terrified, Su Jin planned to visit a temple to burn incense and pray to Buddha. But on the way there, Black and White Impermanence dragged her straight down to the underworld.
In the Hall of the King of Hell, the old King of Hell told her that the underworld was expanding its operations and needed to recruit staff. So they'd grabbed some people from the human realm, and Su Jin was one of the unlucky ones.
Under pressure and temptation, Su Jin had no choice but to agree.
To test the recruits, the old King of Hell decided to put them through an assessment.
As it turned out, the tests were a series of survival games filled with evil spirits and monsters.
Su Jin resigned herself to her fate. But during her very first game instance, she met Jing Yin, a nationally renowned actress who had also been brought in for the assessment. Su Jin unexpectedly discovered that Jing Yin was extremely capable, so she decided to cling to her.
Later, somehow, clinging to this powerful ally led them to the bed.
