Fushiguro Megumi, a first-year student at Tokyo Jujutsu High, is trapped in an endless string of dreams and can't escape.
Whenever he falls asleep, he turns into a blocky character. He starts with nothing but his hands, and makes his fortune by planting trees. Just him and his shadow, with a house and a dog, living the good life.
Wise, easygoing, and good at enjoying life, his only main quest is to find a buddy who plays the same way.
Everyone knows MC is a game with limitless freedom. So he sets out to explore the far reaches of the world, and Friday Fushiguro discovers:
RPG fan Itadori Yuji
Online gamer Kugisaki Nobara
Fighting game player Zenin Maki
Cursed-speech fishing enthusiast Inumaki Toge
Gacha whale Okkotsu Yuta
Office worker Nanami Kento
Redstone expert Gojo Satoru

And a certain Friday going around mooching food and drinks under the name Fushiguro Megumi
A silly farming story. Friday is Dad, and so is the dog.
