Players of the Upper Class

The twenty-third century. Humanity has entered the era of the bases. After receiving a C-level overall assessment in the college entrance exams, Wei Qingrong has only two choices for her future. Either go home and have a baby, or go to a base and raise pigs. After spending a few days considering whether to have a baby or raise pigs, she decides to form a team and pull off something big outside the base before her final year of high school summer break ends. Many years later, Wei Qingrong, now one of the first New Human commanders, returns to her alma mater at the base and gives the most honest speech in the base's history. "High school graduates like me, who don't want to have a baby too early and don't like raising pigs, need another path." "If there's no road ahead, then I'll blast one open and see where it leads. The consequences? I didn't think that far ahead. Worst comes to worst, I'll go back to the base and raise pigs..." "Fear? Everyone feels fear. But mutated species are intelligent life forms, too. They feel fear as well." #If the road ahead is covered in thorns, I'll cut my way through# [First draft, pending revision] 2021.7.27. Theme: Courage is the foundation of life
