The story is about surviving in a foreign country.

Xiao Yi says, "Wenzi, you've been cooped up for too long and gotten too dependent. You need some practice. Go somewhere you don't know anyone and let yourself loose." Her son says, "Mom, the most important thing is to show Dad how well you can live without him. You even made it abroad. Stand up for yourself!" And so, surrounded by everyone, the foolish woman is sent off to live in Korea for two years...
Xiao Yu isn't a Korea fan, hehe. There's not much to idealize about that place. :)
