Special Favor

[Blurb]

A year after their breakup, Jiang Chi returns to the country and unexpectedly runs into Qin Yue at a drinks gathering that evening.

She wears a little black spaghetti-strap dress, her shoulder-length hair in loose waves. Holding a glass of wine, she sways toward him with alluring peach-blossom eyes. "Young Master Jiang, welcome home. I'll drink this one first."

He doesn't respond. His gaze rests on her fair legs, exposed beneath her dress, dark as ink that won't dissolve. "Miss Qin, I don't invite strangers to my gatherings."

Qin Yue: "..."

After returning home, Jiang Chi doesn't hold a grudge against Qin Yue, the ex-girlfriend who hurt him. Instead, he brings one opportunity after another right to her door.

His friend can't help but advise him: "She has no heart. Wasn't once enough for you?"

Jiang Chi asks with a half-smile, "Ever heard of killing someone with kindness?"

His friend catches on: Oh~

Now that's a high-level revenge.jpg

Later, Qin Yue's career takes off, and she wins the Best Actress crown.

His friend asks, baffled, "You've supported her for so long. When are you planning to 'kill' her?"

Jiang Chi only smiles without answering.

A year later, a Weibo post shoots to the top of the trending list.

[Jiang Chi]:

@Qin Yue, my girlfriend. Happy birthday.

His friend: Turns out I'm the clown.jpg
