My Disciple Keeps Defying Me

Feng Buqi cultivates the merciless path, practicing without desire or attachments on Iceberg Island.

Who could have known that one day she'd wake up to find her life-bound sword, Yin Zhuo, mysteriously gone, with a storybook in her hands? It says she's a major villain who will be skinned and dismembered by the male lead to patch the heavens?!

Just then, the giant sea turtle, the island's guardian beast, pokes out its head and brings her a human baby.

The baby has the fate of a jinx, is surrounded by an aura of bloodshed, and has an unknown malign energy surging inside him. Most importantly, her life-bound sword is in his stomach.

Feng Buqi flips through the storybook. Oh, wow, he's the male lead who skins and dismembers her.

"?? Is it illegal to kill children on this island?"

As soon as she finishes speaking, a bolt of heavenly lightning strikes beside her feet.

The giant sea turtle: "Since we're here, and it's New Year's, let's just let it go. They're all children."

Feng Buqi has no choice but to grit her teeth and take the child home.

The master and disciple live together for seventeen years, fighting and killing each other while somehow getting along.

Until one day, the giant sea turtle dies, villagers go missing, the barrier hiding the island melts away, and the entire island begins to collapse.

Most importantly, her life-bound sword, which she'd left with her disciple, has gone missing again!

The unsophisticated Feng Buqi has no choice but to follow the plot and drag her disciple out to find the sword.

Shi Ji has maxed out his martial arts talent and cooking talent. He's good in every way, except he's in poor health. As soon as the cold season begins, it feels like ten thousand ants are gnawing at his heart.

On Iceberg Island, it's cold for three hundred and sixty days a year.

What a pain!

Feng Buqi has no choice but to grit her teeth and give him a spark of phoenix fire to keep him warm, but the fire starts acting strangely the longer it burns.

"Are you asking to get burned?"

"Yes."

"??"

I have to find a chance to kill my disciple by making him say "yes" outside. - Feng Jiu thinks

I have to find a chance to confess to my master. - Shi Ji thinks
