He's Pretending to Be Good

Xia Langran skipped class and got into fights. He was unruly and brash, and no one could catch his eye.

Then, on his very first day after transferring schools, he fell for the school's heartthrob and top student, Huai Chu.

Since the person he liked was a model student, he had to put away his hole-ridden polo shirt and ripped jeans, and dress in a white button-down and casual trousers.

In front of Huai Chu, he shyly bit his lower lip. His fingers clutched his workbook so tightly they turned white, and he looked as sweet and well-behaved as could be.

Huai Chu seemed cold and composed on the outside, but deep inside, he harbored a darkness with no end in sight.

The first time he saw Xia Langran, he wanted to lock him away so that no one but himself could ever touch him.

The person he liked was far too sweet and well-behaved. Afraid of scaring him, Huai Chu could only hide the possessiveness and darkness in his heart, always appearing calm and steady.

They kept up their act all through high school and graduation, and their acting was so good that neither ever blew their cover.

Until one day, they both mistakenly thought the other was about to break up with them.

Just as Xia Langran was preparing to seal the deal first, he discovered the little black room Huai Chu had set up overnight.

Just as Huai Chu was preparing to put him in the little black room, he discovered the condoms Xia Langran had bought the night before.
