My Dead Lover Has Come Back to Life [Entertainment Industry]

The pre-final interview on the show Tomorrow with You turned into a contest to see who had the saddest story.

There were kids from poor families who had come to pursue their dreams, people who couldn't do anything right who had come to prove themselves, and contestants whose family members were sick or whose families had gone bankrupt. It was as if you didn't deserve to stand on that stage unless your life was miserable.

When the microphone was passed to Lan Yu, he thought of the treasures that belonged to him in the whole ocean, and of the group of old immortals who had been lively and well for thousands of years. After frowning and thinking it over carefully, he began in a solemn voice:

"I had a lover. He died..."

Under the powerful empathic abilities of a merperson, the judges and audience wept bitterly.

"Waaah, that's so tragic..."

"What a heartbreaking love story."

"I feel so bad for Lan Yu. I'll give him all my votes. All of them!"

Of everyone there, only the man in the back corner had a face as dark as thunder.

"Buddy, why aren't you crying?"

The dead lover of Lan Yu gave a dry laugh.

He'd only been asleep for a hundred years, and his wife already thought she was widowed.
