Synopsis of Making a Fortune and Eating Popcorn in Late Qing After Transmigrating into a Book
Jiang Xiaoyue transmigrates into a book, and the Qing dynasty is on the verge of collapse. There is no need for emperors or palace intrigue in a Qing-era transmigration story anymore. Jiang Xiaoyue just wants to make a fortune and enjoy every day of counting and spending her money.
As for her identity, she is the first wife of the book's overpowered male protagonist. He has plenty of wives, after all, and has made his fortune off them. Losing one wife would hardly matter, so she'd rather spend her money. She definitely won't marry him.
Who could have guessed that this time, the overpowered male protagonist would be different from the one in the novel? He has transmigrated into a book too, knows the plot, and plans to follow the script to pursue Jiang Xiaoyue and seize the Jiang family's wealth and connections.
Jiang Xiaoyue's response: There's no chance I'll go out with you. Straight to the crematorium for you! And so Jiang Xiaoyue's days become a routine of making money, spending money, and watching Ye Jun get his comeuppance.
Ye Jun has transmigrated into a book, and not just any book: it's a wish-fulfillment novel for men that he's read several times. He gets promoted and rich all the way, with three wives and four concubines. Hahaha, this is perfect for me!
But his first wife won't play along. What should he do if he can't win her over?
He skips ahead and goes after the second wife, but she won't play along either. What should he do after getting slapped in the face again? He can't get his first pot of gold, and all his other dreams of getting rich turn to bubbles. A fallen tiger is bullied by dogs on the plain, and a phoenix stripped of its feathers is no better than a chicken.
What should he do when he gets slapped in the face every day? He's waiting online for an answer, and it's urgent.
This is a fictional version of the late Qing era. The author also enjoys researching historical sources, so readers are welcome to do the same, but the author's own fictional setting takes precedence.
Other completed novels by the author:
The Rise of a Billionaire Heiress: Her road to fortune begins in 2005.
Catch That Transmigrator: A story about a young girl in the 1960s who turns a transmigrator over to the state.
I Found a Space Bangle: A fourth disaster story in which Earth's humans counterattack and invade another world.
When a Straight-A Student Became an Unequaled Beauty: A top student turns in her beauty-enhancing System to the state.
Theme: Even in darkness and adversity, never give up.
The ending is really rushed, and such a good idea was wasted. The author must not be able to continue writing, right?
This is a bad ending, but the novel is actually very good. Pity the bird. Flowers are given to the previous episode.
Please solve v. You won't write it anymore. It's really boring to get stuck on v.
Although tomorrow is the 22nd, I have lost confidence in you. You will definitely not finish the update tomorrow! (Although you have the ability to slap me in the face tomorrow T_T)
I accidentally discovered that it was updated, so I quickly commented. I hope the author knows that there are still people waiting for it. I look forward to the next update.
I thought I had solved V, but I didn't expect it would be updated.
I'm curious if the author will update it today

Talking about the May Day return, let's take a look at the June 1st. Let's write a modern urban article. The best ones are engaged in career. I haven't made any money recently. I'll read one that can make a small amount of money. Jinjiang has stopped reading since you stopped. It's boring. Every article I read every day is about love. I'm tired of it.
So are you coming back today?
