Kill the Riddler

This story is also known as "Will Cross-Species Love Make Darwin Turn Over in His Grave?"

"It's just the summer blues," said a high school boy with a topknot.

---Then, with a bang, someone fell out of the tree beside him.

"This [beep] started doubting himself and his whole life because of the Star Plasma Vessel incident. The shock from those [beep]s in the Star Religious Group was so intense that he started questioning whether it was even necessary to save ordinary people. After they were made special grade, they started taking missions separately, and swallowing those wretched curse balls made his delicate nerves go as crazy as [beep], making them [beep]ing bounce all over the place. And you, with your Six Eyes, finally became the strongest, so he felt the gap between you and wondered if it even mattered whether he left, or if any of this [beep] mattered. On top of that, it was hot as [beep]. Put it all together and you get what people call the 'summer blues.' Got it?"

The black-haired, blue-eyed foreigner gulped down some coffee. His eye bags were so huge they seemed to droop to his cheeks, and he looked like he had a cloud of darkness hanging over him.

"Try talking in riddles again and I'll kill you."
