I Retired from Detective Work and Went to the Ninja World to Write Literature

Ming Piao Qiuren thought the most pseudoscientific science he'd ever seen was his life as the famous detective Sakaido. That was until he retired from detective work in glory [??], took a nap, and woke up with a memory from before he became Ming Piao shoved into his mind. Sitting in a crib, he watched a group of children with familiar forehead protectors run across the rooftops. His last thread of reason snapped.

Ming Piao: If you can kick up a meteor shower and stomp a forest into existence with your bare hands, what do you need detectives for? There's no way I'm becoming a ninja. In this cold world, talking things out is the only thing with any warmth... I've decided: the Akatsuki Publishing House of the Land of Rain!

Akatsuki: ???

*

When clans turn to blades and villages to steel, does the war ever end?

How cruel is the shinobi village system? Come join my Akatsuki instead!

*

Let the flames of dawn spread to every corner of the world.

*

* Piao-ge gets a new soul and transmigrates for the second time. He gives up being a detective to write literature, using his brains and brawn alike. He may not be a ninja, but he won't just let himself be killed.

* This is marked as pure love, but there may not be a couple. It's marked pure love because there is one-sided affection. Whether it becomes mutual depends on time, place, and circumstance [ . ].

* Study hard with the Akatsuki and keep improving in the Land of Rain.

* An original character who isn't a missing-nin goes rogue. Please take note if that's not your thing.
