The World Changed, and Only the Drama Was Bullied

An ensemble cast story, with equal focus on all six male leads. Started in August and continued through to the end.

This is a world that puts tradition above all else.

No matter how insignificant we may be, we still... we still have to...

*

A companion came running up, stumbling and out of breath, and showed the anxious crowd the contents of the USB drive.

"The notice is out! We... we’re banned from performing every kind of modern theater!"

Anger filled their eyes.

"Don’t give up!"

Their shared love of theater brought them together, and they formed a troupe that refused to conform to society.

Ba Lehe: Guangshi, um... should we start our own troupe?

An Guangshi: Wait! Don’t pull me along. Why do you think the two of us can make this work?!

An Guangshi: Uh, would you be interested in investing?

Bing Huixing: ?

"I’m saying, why don’t you join us too? You’re not ready to give up, are you? Hey, you over there, don’t be shy!"

He grabbed the two unwilling-looking men and cheerfully introduced them.

The Firefly Theater Troupe.

For now, it consists of just six people: Bing Huixing, An Guangshi, Xiang Wencheng, Ba Lehe, Guan Yangxia, and Deng Ning.

They will do everything they can to make the tiny glimmers of light in this darkness blaze into a dazzling sun!

Note:

1. Written by Haixing, with Wending’s assistance. This is an idea we came up with while chatting, for the sake of making our theater troupe project a reality. Could it count as a business-building story? We’ve already created some character designs, theme songs, and more in section 4 below. We might make a game later.

2. No couples, but feel free to ship characters, hehe.

3. Neither of us is a theater professional. We’re learning everything on our own, so please point out anything that needs work! (Xiang Wencheng bows. GIF)

4. Stars gather to form a sea.

Premise: Theater is the vastness growing in our bones, the strength flowing through our blood.
