Blurb:
Pei Qiu was born a nobleman's daughter, with both pedigree and beauty enough to live a life of luxury. But after acting like a spoiled brat and joining the Embroidered Uniform Guard as a pitiful nobody, she was framed by a villain and transmigrated into the body of a nameless, washed-up actress.
After a pop music prodigy accidentally fell into the water and left the production team, the director had no choice but to shove Pei Qiu into the role of comic relief on a rural survival variety show.
A scheming, two-faced nobody tried to gain sympathy by slacking off. Pei Qiu sang Moscow Does Not Believe in Tears to the lotus flowers in the pond.
A has-been actor tried to make a comeback with recycled jokes. Pei Qiu showed everyone what it meant to be so blunt that even Bluntness's own mother would open the door for it.
A domineering movie queen tried to cultivate a delicate, helpless beauty persona. Pei Qiu tossed her two baskets of buns, and the actress cried out in hunger.
A mysterious viewer poked their head into the livestream: If that works, I can do it too.
Pei Qiu followed the internet connection to Huo Huaidu, threw him the hard-earned money she'd made on the show, and slowly drew her Embroidered Spring Blade. "Whether you can do it isn't important. What's important is that I can't."
Huo Huaidu took out a small stone right in front of her and smiled without a word. "Then look and see who ends up raising the kid."
Pei Qiu gripped the System's Irrigation Card and let out a yelp before fainting. "I was careless. If I'd known the more I earn, the more debt I rack up, I might as well have gone dumpster diving."
A little one peeked out cautiously. "Mama, can you stay with Qiuqiu this time?"
Pei Qiu looked at the adorable little tyke. "Qiuqiu is such a cute name! Did he give it to you?"
Huo Huaidu finally seized the chance to back down. "It's not like I'm some great scholar."
Pei Qiu picked up the little tyke and cleared her throat. "Since you know your own limits, I'll stay with the kid."
Huo Huaidu: "What about me? What about me?"
Pei Qiu put her hands on her hips. "I just opened a delivery."
Huo Huaidu looked at the delivery boxes scattered across the floor. "..." It's not that bad, surely.
A lighthearted, feel-good variety show romance, with plenty of silliness. No characters are based on real people, just so you know. The blurb was screenshotted on March 6, 2022.
