Crimson Vermilion Sand

Yan Fei had struggled in the entertainment industry for years, but never managed to make it big.

Rong Xiao was a business magnate worth tens of billions, and the man Yan Fei was rumored to be kept by.

Yan Fei was with Rong Xiao for five years before learning that she was only a stand-in for his dead first love, and that he had never planned to marry her.

Heartbroken, Yan Fei left and focused on her career.

She took every kissing scene and steamy scene she'd once been afraid to accept.

He thought she was just throwing a little tantrum and would soon come back to him.

After losing a man who didn't love her, Yan Fei still had a whole forest of men to choose from.

Movie stars, young heartthrobs, business elites... they lined up to pursue her.

Yan Fei became a top-tier star in the entertainment industry, while one certain someone was left regretting everything.

At the backstage of an event, Rong Xiao pinned Yan Fei against a wall, his voice low and hoarse. "Come back to me, okay? Like before."

Yan Fei: "I'm sorry. There's no going back."

Rong Xiao: "I can marry you."

Yan Fei: "Too late. I don't need that anymore."

Later on...

Rong Xiao lowered himself and said, "Be good. I won't interfere with your script choices anymore. You can act in whatever you want. Let me pursue you again, okay?"

Yan Fei: "Do whatever you want. I have so many people pursuing me that one more or one less makes no difference to me."

The male and female leads are each other's one and only. Fake stand-in, don't worry, it'll be explained later.
