Limited-Time Romance (Part One)

A seemingly sweet and well-behaved girl who's rebellious inside x a seemingly aloof, cool, and distant boy who's warmhearted and gentle inside

*

On the day she graduated from high school at eighteen, Shi Yun met Cheng Yanchu, a cool and aloof boy, at a bar.

At the time, he was Li Chao's best friend, and Li Chao was pursuing Shi Yun.

Cheng Yanchu was always thoughtful and attentive toward Shi Yun, gentle and considerate.

Before Li Chao could confess, Shi Yun had already fallen for Cheng Yanchu.

One evening, after the sun had set, Shi Yun looked up at Cheng Yanchu with a smile. "Want to start dating?"

Cheng Yanchu's expression was cool. "You don't go after your friend's girl."

"First, Li Chao and I have nothing going on. Second..." Shi Yun rose onto her tiptoes and pressed a kiss to the boy's soft lips.

"Cheng Yanchu, stop pretending. I know you like me too."

A little extra----

Cheng Yanchu: "Wait outside while I get changed."

Shi Yun sat up and looked down at Cheng Yanchu, who was bundled up tight. "Boyfriend, you're so stingy. Do you have to turn your back on me just to change?"

Cheng Yanchu smiled and turned Shi Yun's head away. "Girlfriend, behave yourself."

Shi Yun reluctantly got out of bed. As she opened the door to leave, she looked back. "Cheng Yanchu, do you have abs?"

Sometimes when she hugged him, she'd felt them, just barely.

Cheng Yanchu pulled the blanket tighter around himself, speechless. "A young lady should be more reserved."

This is where the story of their young love ends. It has regrets and isn't perfect, but that's life at its most real.

If you'd like to read about them as adults, you can visit my profile and save the sequel, Limited-Time Romance 2, to your collection.

If enough people save it, I'll write a reunion story where they meet again after years apart and one has to win the other back.
