Lin Ran, a max-level celestial master, is transmigrated into a book as the real daughter of a metaphysical family. But this real daughter has no ability to use spiritual energy, so she can't use it like the fake daughter to build up connections for the family in business circles.
In the end, she is sent off to marry a man with an intellectual disability, and meets a tragic end.
After Lin Ran arrives in this world, the fake daughter signs her up for a paranormal reality show, where she is about to become the fake daughter's foil.
She thought she'd finally escaped her responsibilities as the successor to the previous generation of celestial masters and could focus on her studies. But it turns out she has to return to her old line of work after all.
On the show, Lin Ran insists on explaining everything scientifically whenever she can. She just wants to wrap things up and clock out early, but every episode lands her on the trending charts.

Many viewers think Lin Ran is a fraud with no paranormal abilities. They never expected that later... Is it too late to join her fan club now?
