Basking in Light

The height of summer was sweltering. After the rain, in the alley in front of the school gates, the boy who had just been in a fight had sharp eyes and a fierce air about him. With blood on his fingertips, he used the orange-red flame to light a cigarette. Amid the swirling smoke, he glanced over at her. Xu Fu walked up and held out her pale, clean hand, asking to borrow a cigarette. He blew out a puff of smoke. His fierce air softened a little. Seeing her quiet expression, he curled his lips into a smile. "Want to learn?" "I don't teach little girls how to get into trouble." - In everyone's eyes, Shen Qingye was cold, fierce, and unruly, the last person anyone should provoke.
