What If You Lied to Life

Blurb

The only girl in the wealthy Shan family, Shan Xiaobei is a rebellious young lady who climbs onto roofs and commits every kind of mischief. She shaves her head, gets into fights, goes clubbing, and makes a name for herself in the entertainment industry. Her reputation is in tatters.

It takes a trip abroad for her to meet Fang Erqian.

Fang Erqian is a well-behaved, determined girl from an ordinary family. With long hair and long skirts, she is quiet and unassuming. She has excelled at school since childhood, and was eventually admitted to a prestigious university with her tuition waived.

During a study-abroad program funded by the government, she meets Shan Xiaobei.

To their astonishment, they discover that they look exactly alike.

Shan Xiaobei knows she has a twin sister who was unfortunately kidnapped when they were little. There is no doubt about it: Fang Erqian is that sister.

As they grow closer, the two girls, each with troubles of her own, make a decision: to switch identities.

And so the young lady of the Shan family, once always bouncing off the walls, suddenly starts wearing long skirts.

Shan Dad and Shan Mom: Is our daughter sick?!

Shan Xiaobei as Fang Erqian: ...I just wanted to try a different style.

Meanwhile, the dependable and well-behaved only daughter of the Fang family returns home with a buzz cut, earrings, and tattoos.

Fang Dad and Fang Mom: Has our daughter had her heart broken?!

Fang Erqian as Shan Xiaobei: N-no, nothing like that. Haha, they're just temporary tattoos!

Warnings:

They switch identities, but switch back later. There are two female leads, one has a romance, the other does not. I never abandon my novels!

Theme: Experience another kind of life and live with your own flair.
