[Pokemon] A Diary of Watching and Being Watched

Up front: [This is mainly about various Pokemon and people. The romance plot takes up very little of the story. The protagonist is essentially a sexless pseudo-human, referred to as "he" in the text, so the romantic perspective leans male. This is a retirement-life story with some strange settings, so enter with caution _(:з"∠)_] Here's the rough, tentative blurb: Lissa opens her eyes. There are no rival nations or peoples, no disasters or gods descending upon the world. Magical beasts are called Pokemon, and they still coexist with humans. Countless lives fill the world. Time endlessly circles back, past and future intertwine, and here we meet. ! Below is several times more rambling and warnings than the blurb itself (why can I only manage to write this much when I'm rambling? Damn it): 1. [There are references to the official Pokemon material, and the general setting follows canon, such as the Pokedex entries.] This will probably be a clichéd episodic story. The content is so freeform that I have no idea what it will become:|. You could also say it's a collection of ideas inspired by Pokemon traits and little stories written to pass the time. Maybe it'll turn out silly and sweet, though not necessarily sweet, since it's a variety of stories. Given the author's meager imagination, even if I try hard to make each story good, it might still be dull, clichéd filler (tears). 2. [Characters represent individuals only and do not stand for any group or species.] For the timeline and character plotlines, the main setting combines the harmonious, friendly TV version with some parts of the games and a ton of personal additions. If original characters appear, some out-of-character moments are unavoidable. I'll try, really try, to keep them in character. 3. [Updates whenever inspiration strikes.] The passionate author has been worn down and lost all enthusiasm (wrong); the useless author is so hopeless that their brain has rusted, frozen, and clogged up (right). The author is a lazy fish. Writing is like retirement. I long to capture the wonder and excitement of travel, but all I can manage is sudden edginess and melodrama (what). I'm not good enough, so updates are irregular. There are no especially deep schemes or exciting, passionate battles either. 4. [It might end at any time, or go on forever. There are so many Pokemon, but the author is so hopeless.] This story can't reflect the author's living situation. If there are no other works in my collection and this one is still marked as ongoing but never gets another update, then I'll simply be gone (though updates may also just be incredibly slow, orz).
