Watch Your Weapon [Western Crossover]

Loyce has an unusual obsession. He has a mad infatuation with weapons. Not in the conventional sense of liking them, but in the way someone loves a lover. So Captain America puts away his shield... Loki hides his scepter... Iron Man clutches his armor close... Red Hood takes off his helmet... Superman/Black Widow/Hulk and so on: Good thing I'm unarmed. Winter Soldier: Yeah, good thing I am too... Huh? P.S. 1. The protagonist starts out with Hydra, then later joins the Chaotic Neutral camp (a.k.a. antihero). He's a terrible person, but not completely terrible. 2. The characters' worldviews do not represent the author's. 3. A Marvel/DC crossover. 4. The pairing is undecided, but most likely Winter Soldier or Red Hood. The author has a soft spot for the tragic, beautiful, and strong type. 5. The protagonist is not a fetishist. His condition is different from a fetish; it's purely a psychological issue. "I am very sad that so many children have never been cared for, and so never grew up. They grow old, but they do not grow up. Growing up requires love." Excerpt from Janet Winterson's Why Be Happy When You Could Be Normal? Theme: Warm one another, and embrace as we welcome the dawn.
