This novel will be available to read for a fee starting August 7. I hope all you lovely readers will support it!
Wen Yan played a full-dive game. He was told he would transmigrate as the son of a deposed crown prince, and that the game would train his strategic thinking and resilience.
Who knew a bug would occur as soon as he entered the game? He lost all his memories and could only follow Kangxi on instinct. He taught him how to make glass, find rubber, and value steam engines, and even reformed the Eight Banners system. Before he knew it, the two had become brothers who would live and die for each other.
When the deposed crown prince’s son was born, Wen Yan became his tutor, teaching him to read and write and how to govern and conduct himself. He raised him like his own son and even bound the Master Teacher System to him.
Then one day, the game returned to normal, and Wen Yan’s memories came back.
Wen Yan: Damn... it.
An unconventional political intrigue and child-rearing story: first raising Kangxi, then Yinzhen, and then Hongxi, the protagonist’s reincarnation.
P.S.:
1. This is a Qing Dynasty transmigration story in an alternate timeline, with lots of original worldbuilding. Please don’t nitpick.
2. The protagonist grows over time. Kangxi grows up from the age of three. Although the timeline says he is three, he should actually be four or five. Kangxi is at an age when his thoughts are still developing and absorbing new ideas. After all, a real three-year-old can barely speak clearly. Wen Yan transmigrates, but begins with amnesia, and will recover his memories twice.
3. I looked up the historical records, but there are differing accounts. In this story, Kangxi leaves the palace at three to avoid smallpox and returns at five to attend court and study, in accordance with tradition.
A preview of my upcoming story: "Fengshen: Today, I Still Don’t Want to Be the King Who Brings Down His Country"
Yan Qing, who had spent most of his life working in tech, suddenly died and woke up as an emperor. Before he could even celebrate...
A gorgeous woman leaned close and said, "I hear Bi Gan has seven chambers in his heart..."
I freaking transmigrated into the Shang King Zhou of history, a tyrant who levied exorbitant taxes and was lecherous and incompetent.
Bi Gan was about to reach in and cut out his own heart. Yan Qing threw out a hand in alarm: Wait, I think there’s still time to save you.
"Qing Dynasty Transmigration: The Crown Prince Is Righteous and Unyielding"
The First Prince was horrified to discover that his younger brother had changed. He now always paid his respects and kept saying that a younger brother ought to be deferential to his elder brother.
The ministers were horrified to discover that the Crown Prince had changed. Not only had he reported members of his own faction for embezzlement and bribery, he had also started auditing the Ministry of Revenue’s accounts.
Kangxi was horrified to discover that the heir he had painstakingly groomed had completely dismantled the small faction he had worked so hard to build. From then on, the Crown Prince stood alone, purer than even the most upright minister.
The Crown Prince woke from a nap to find that the court had changed overnight. The ministers were lining their own pockets and taking bribes, while his elder brother treated him with open hostility, and his foolish father was letting it all happen.
With no other choice, the Crown Prince decided to reform the court, starting with himself.
P.S.: The Crown Princes switch bodies. This is a parallel world and an alternate setting. The Crown Prince in this story is the one from "Transmigrated as Kangxi’s Guardian Spirit."
Theme: Live healthily and face every day with optimism.
