My Strange Boyfriend

He was the darling of an underground laboratory, yet he was also a child abandoned by parents whose existence he never even knew. A genius with perfect programming skills, he was an incomplete product of an experiment to turn a man into a woman. He came from an ordinary, low-income family, with many brothers and sisters. His mother was unemployed, and his father was abusive. He worked hard and did well in school, but a car accident took everything from him. He had to choose whether to undergo an experiment or give up on life. Reborn, he became a half-robot, the product of human modification. His master seemed impossibly unattainable, but was actually just an ordinary person who needed someone to care for him.

He knew his parents were alive and decided to spend a rare vacation visiting them. But now the laboratory had gone public. Should he return or keep taking time off? What about his best friend’s happiness, and his own happiness...?

The laboratory was valued by the government, but had been stripped of much of its authority. He had to face newcomers who didn’t know him, as well as Bai Yuan’s former family. Having understood his own feelings, what lay ahead was work, life, love, and family...

A note from Fox: I came up with this story after listening to JJ Lin’s “No. 89757.” I’ve done my best with it. That’s all.

One more thing from Fox: Some things here don’t match reality, and the laboratory in the story is entirely something I made up. The setting is around the year 3000, so even experiments that seem impossible might be feasible by then... Please don’t take it too seriously. It’s just my own setting, and you can ignore it if you like...
