Former title: We Met After Earth Died, also known as The Legacy of Blue Star. Thanks to the readers for the title suggestions.

Fu Jingxuan [interstellar immigrant · an ordinary person who can fight and kill, with exceptional combat abilities]

Lu Jiusheng [last treasure of Earth · an evolved esper who can do anything]

Three hundred years ago, humanity abandoned the dying Earth and migrated into space, ushering in the era of the Interstellar Alliance.

Fu Jingxuan makes an enemy of the United Army’s leadership while protecting the last pair of giant pandas in the universe. The youngest major general in the history of the Star Alliance, he is assigned a mission no one else is willing to take: return to Earth.

He’s only meant to conduct a study and make observations, but he encounters a man who shouldn’t exist on Earth: the remnant of a biological experiment from over three hundred years ago, experimental embryo number 693. To uncover the man’s secrets, Fu Jingxuan has no choice but to stay on Earth long-term.

Fu Jingxuan names him Lu Jiusheng.

As a descendant of interstellar immigrants, Fu Jingxuan is both fascinated by and afraid of Earth. As one of the military’s leading scientists, he longs to uncover and study the truth behind Earth’s death, then restore its vitality so humanity can return.

But Lu Jiusheng shows him an Earth he never knew existed.

Humanity can’t live without Earth.

But does Earth need humanity?

Reader’s guide:

1. Fu Jingxuan is a temperamental, ruthless, deeply scheming black lotus.

2. Lu Jiusheng is an innocent, naive sweetheart who only cares about eating.

3. The story is full of all kinds of unscientific fantasy. Please don’t expect scientific accuracy.

4. This isn’t the Earth you think it is.

Theme: Protecting the environment is everyone’s responsibility. Until science advances enough to discover an unknown planet where we can live, Earth is our last home!
