[Wuxia Crossover] Playing the Trickster in the Martial World

Synopsis: I've given up. I'm hopeless. Just skim the blurb. I reckon the actual story may turn out completely different. The secret identities may be completely different too.

There are always strange tales in the world, but they're just stories that become increasingly bizarre as people pass them around. Yet as eerie rumors proliferate and the martial world falls into turmoil, one strange and uncanny case follows another.

The famous detective Four Eyebrows follows the clues, and the deeper he digs, the more bizarre and uncanny things become:

A child appears at night, carrying a cloth doll covered in lines of stitching and singing eerie nursery rhymes. Even Granny Bear is frightened away by the child.

Rumors of a ghost child who claims lives spread far and wide over time.

On dark, overcast days, a rural inn appears, like something out of Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio. Its guests are beautiful, and its innkeeper handsome. It is called the Yellow Springs Inn.

They say that anyone without a fated connection cannot enter the Yellow Springs Inn. Those who do enter have already been branded, like wandering ghosts who have reached the Terrace of Longing for Home. There is no turning back.

Can the dead come back to life? Can the living receive help from ghosts? A flower that willingly descended into hell, called the Other Shore, arrives with a sharp edge and a body full of fury. Where should the line between humans and ghosts, justice and evil be drawn?

As these strange incidents unfold, more and more interesting people seem to appear in the martial world: a free-spirited storyteller, an impartial judge...

And the truth behind it all is...

Jiang Guiqi: Sorry, it's all me. I'm terribly sorry I scared you.
