[Notice: This novel will become paid content on July 27, tomorrow! A 10,000-word chapter will be released then. Thank you, little angels, for all your support along the way!]
[The duplicated chapters 86/87 have been fixed. Chapter 87 has been replaced with an extra story, which has already been posted in the author's notes.]
A System fell from the sky and landed on Bai Ze Liangyou, in the form of a card role-playing game called One in Eight Trillion.
As long as he perfectly played the characters on the cards and completed missions to earn enough moon rings, he could exchange them for an all-purpose wish ticket in the System shop.
Faced with the possibility of bringing his twin brother, Bai Ze Liangjie, back to life, Bai Ze Liangyou agreed without hesitation.
After locking in the card pool called Land of Eternal Silence, Bai Ze Liangyou began to realize that something was getting more and more wrong.
Why were all the character concepts so bizarre? There was a strange family of four, an organization of five with an ominous name, a pair of freelancers who acted like a couple, and senior and junior disciples who had been partners for ages.
If Bai Ze Liangyou hadn't lived in Yokohama and known a little about the counterparts of these character cards, he might actually have believed it!
And that was nothing compared to what came as he drew more cards: the mystifying Temple group, the young couple who eloped for love, the solitary academic type shouldering everything alone, the trio of expedition leaders, and the surviving remnants of a family struggling to stay alive...
Bai Ze Liangyou hardly knew what to make of the Land of Eternal Silence card pool.
It was not only bizarre, it was downright ridiculous!
Bai Ze Liangyou grew more and more curious about the backstory of the Land of Eternal Silence.
Then one day, he unlocked a feature that could awaken the sleeping souls inside the character cards.
[Hello, Player Bai Ze. Congratulations, you have unlocked an identity: Lord of Central City.]
Bai Ze Liangyou: ...
This story brings together three worlds. The protagonist becomes a literary master, with signature finger-food cooking and the Clam family. I still used the Holy Grail setting, wrapped in a card-drawing game. The title comes from Marshmallow supposedly having memories of eight trillion parallel worlds. I think that's the number, anyway. I forgot where I saw it. Even if I remember wrong, I'm using it. That's how willful I am!
As for the powers of the Land of Eternal Silence characters, naturally their names are related to shikigami!
I made a few changes. The basic format is “In my name, [something],” and then I made up the abilities based on their character concepts.
I considered making them more literary, but my intelligence is limited, and I didn't want to look things up. Besides, this seemed fun, so I decided to go with it.
Although there are three worlds, all the characters from the Land of Eternal Silence series will use these abilities with names I made up on the spot!
A major warning! The character settings for the Land of Eternal Silence series are truly ridiculous, so over-the-top that they are completely unrecognizable and even their own mothers wouldn't know them. This is purely the author's self-indulgent labor of love!
The characters being out of character is also the norm. There are headcanons and original interpretations everywhere, so don't read if that bothers you!
Love you all, mwah~
One last warning: Some of the character cards involve romantic relationships, and those will receive the main focus. I might write other romantic storylines too, but our little Liangyou will ultimately have no pairing~
Of course, little Liangyou might not get much of a presence either, hehehe~
Some sweethearts in the comments asked about pairings, so here's a heads-up!
Dazai and Chuuya, either way around, are fine by me, since I ship both. (Though I lean more toward Chuuya/Dazai, since I'm writing a short Dazai, hehehe~)
Yuji and Fushiguro are explicitly a couple. For Katekyo Hitman Reborn, it's 10027, but they might not get much page time, so it may not be obvious?
Atsushi and Kyoka are a couple I really like, but they're still kids in the story, so it won't be discussed much.
There's another pairing that might seem a little strange, but they aren't officially together. They're more than friends, but not quite lovers: the great detective and Fyodor~
I've been thinking about writing Gojo and Inumaki, but I'm not sure. If I do, it'll be in an extra story, so it's undecided. (Speaking of Inumaki, there's a one-sided crush on him from the Pure Love Warrior!)
Of course, aside from Gojo in that last pairing, everyone else is my version from another world. That's important! (Though honestly, there's very little romance. If the romance adds up to 10,000 words in a 600,000-word story, I'll consider myself impressive!)
That's all. Report complete!
I'll start a new story in January, Has Miss Gojo Got What She Wanted Today? It's a second-person story. If you're interested, check out my author page~
Here's the introduction:
As the undisputed strongest, 5t5 never imagined there would be something even he would find difficult to handle.
White hair and a blindfold. Her modified uniform perfectly accentuated her graceful figure. She walked toward him, one step at a time, and the Six Eyes told him that she was another version of himself.
The beautiful Miss Gojo stopped in front of him and parted her vermilion lips. “I'm terribly sorry. My world banished me, so I have no choice but to settle down in this one.”
“Gojo, I look forward to getting along with you from now on.”
Miss Gojo never spoke about her past, and she seemed lazy and uninterested when it came to curses.
But 5t5 just knew she was secretly up to something!
Miss Gojo smiled wickedly at that. Yet behind her blindfold, her heavenly eyes were empty. Her world hated her and loved her, and she felt the same way about it...
She had already made it ninety-nine steps. How could she possibly refuse to take the final one?
A daily question: Did Miss Gojo get what she wanted today?
5t5 x 5t5, selfcest and narcissism~ There will probably be a child~
The main setting is Jujutsu Kaisen. Miss Gojo will transmigrate from time to time, traveling through all sorts of worlds, with an incredibly eventful past!
There will probably be the little stray dogs, the fallen Sword King, the young death god detective, Natsume's Book of Friends, Katekyo Hitman Reborn, and more.
She has met Chuuya after he lost Dazai, sought advice from the chaos detective after he fell into darkness, witnessed the spectacular fall of the royal sword, paused for a while in the world of yokai, talked with a girl-version Dazai, brought a fallen leader back, taken inspiration from an abnormal world of deductive science, had a pleasant conversation with Fyodor, destroyed a world with Marshmallow, and wouldn't mind protecting the world again with the Vongola...
(A little whisper: My true love really is the little stray dog, after all!)
Did Miss Gojo get what she wanted today?
Miss Gojo eventually got what she wanted.
There's another ongoing boys' love spin-off next door, The Executive Would Never Retire Early. It features an original character x Chuuya and an original character x Dazai, so it's a double pairing. A lot of it has already been posted, so feel free to check it out~
You're welcome to visit my author page~
I might take an occasional break, but I promise I'll finish the story. Here I am, waving to you all~
Theme: Leave the past that has imprisoned you behind, and stand in the sunlight once more to welcome a new beginning.
Finished with flowers~ The ending feels a bit rushed
Finished spreading flowers!!??(ˊωˋ*)??
Another pair of miserable people
Big, awesome! Come on! Soon, soon
Come on! Go big!
I've been stocking up on it for a while, so I'll finish it next time. It's great!
There are four, currently the most literary ones, and the tutors and Ju Huiyue are the same?
Alas, it turns out that mai's personality is already dead.
I guess Zhenyi's face cost something.
