After I Kissed My Husband's Archrival, He Went Dark

Xie Changli, the notorious master of Yunli Palace, was ambushed and gravely wounded. He vanished without a trace.

As it turned out, not only did he survive, he also acquired a sweet and innocent little Daoist companion.

His little companion was beautiful and sweet-voiced. Though she often said shocking things, was rather weak, and seemed to treat him as a substitute, she was a good companion. She cared for him, felt his pain, and even got hurt for him. Palace Master Xie thought that once he had quelled the palace's internal turmoil, he would hold a grand ceremony to become partners with her and protect her for the rest of her life.

Then one day, he saw his own "delicate and frail" companion pinning his sworn enemy, Xie Yun, against the wall and kissing him, before cruelly plunging a knife into her enemy's heart.

Xie Changli: ?! Weren't you delicate and easy to push over? And how dare you cheat on me?! (Turns evil)

Little scene

Xie Changli: (Turns evil) You kissed that little brat from Kunlun. Care to explain?

Yun Bai Lian Jia Yun: It was just... an accident. Don't overthink it. You're the one I love. (Furrows her brows)

Xie Changli: (Cold laugh) An ac-ci-dent?!

Yun Jia Yun: (Instantly cowed) N-no, I'm sorry.

Irresponsible little scene

Yun Hai Wang Jia Yun: (Sighs) We're all fish in my sea. Can't we all just get along?
