Luo Chu and Zuo Su Ci had never gotten along. Luo Chu thought Zuo Su Ci was domineering and unreasonable, while Zuo Su Ci found Luo Chu spoiled and troublesome.
Before college started, Luo Chu’s family worried that it wouldn’t be convenient for her to live alone, given her health.
Their parents hit it off at once and decided that Luo Chu should move into the apartment Zuo Su Ci rented.
Luo Chu drawled, “...Maybe we shouldn’t.”
Zuo Su Ci frowned. “I’m not used to living with someone so spoiled. It’s a pain.”
The first day living together
Seeing Luo Chu’s porcelain-white fingers reddened by the weight of her luggage, Zuo Su Ci pressed his lips together. Without a word, he took all her bags and strode ahead. “Keep up. If you get lost, don’t expect me to come looking.”
The second day living together
Zuo Su Ci accidentally barged in while Luo Chu was showering. He told himself it was an accident and that he didn’t care. Then the Duke of Zhou sent the glistening, freshly showered Luo Chu straight into his dreams.
In his dream, the beauty’s legs were long and straight, her skin whiter than snow. She hooked a finger into his collar and asked, “Gege, what are you looking at?”
Zuo Su Ci woke with a start. From then on, whenever he looked at Luo Chu, there was a little less innocence in his gaze.
After a semester of living together
Holding the soft, sweet-smelling Luo Chu in his arms, Zuo Su Ci refused to let go. “Winter break is so long. Can’t we go home a little later?”
Luo Chu sat on his lap, cheeks red, and said softly, “Our families’ villas are next door to each other. We can still see each other all the time when we go home.”
Zuo Su Ci seemed to think of something, then let out a low, delighted laugh. “Luoluo, that’s not the same...”
Luo Chu didn’t understand what Zuo Su Ci meant by “not the same.”
Not until after they went home, when Luo Chu’s mother invited Zuo Su Ci’s family over for dinner.
Everyone chatted and laughed around the table. Only Luo Chu sat there with flushed cheeks, biting her lip and saying nothing.
Under the table, where no one could see, Luo Chu had one long leg pressed against Zuo Su Ci’s knee. He had gripped it and wouldn’t let go.
At last, Luo Chu understood why Zuo Su Ci had smiled so suggestively when he said it was “not the same.”
It really was so different! It was so exciting!!

On a whim, I’m posting a new upcoming novel, pew~
"The Sickly Beauty Who Plays the Hunter Gets Hunted"
Before his friend died, Xi Zongying promised to fulfill his final request and care for his orphaned nephew, that beautiful, fragile young man.
“Uncle, am I causing trouble for you by staying here? Maybe I should leave?”
On the soft bed, Huai Yue curled up with his fair legs tucked against his chest. He looked helplessly up at the man in front of him, who wore gold-rimmed glasses. His rain-soaked body trembled slightly, and his face was flushed with fever.
Xi Zongying was gentle and refined, with a deep, magnetic voice that soothed the heart. He leaned down and gently stroked Luo Chu’s hair. “Don’t be afraid. I’ll take care of every problem for you.”
*
Huai Yue moved into Xi Zongying’s villa, and seemed especially dependent on the man, who was eight years older than him.
“Uncle Zongying, the thunder outside is so loud. I can’t sleep.”
During a storm, Huai Yue would hurry to Xi Zongying’s room on his tender little toes. His long legs were faintly visible beneath his shirt as he pinched the hem and pleaded softly, “Can I sleep here?”
“Uncle, it hurts so much. I don’t want surgery...”
At the hospital, Huai Yue leaned against the man, his face pale and the corners of his eyes tinged red with tears. His gaze was heartbreakingly vulnerable. “Will you take me away?”
*
Huai Yue thought no one could resist his charms, but Xi Zongying was the exception.
Everything about Xi Zongying perfectly matched his tastes.
But Xi Zongying seemed to think of himself as nothing more than an “uncle.”
Huai Yue slowly curved his lips. He’d found something interesting to do: make this uncle fall in love with him.
*
Before bringing him home, Xi Zongying had thoroughly investigated the handsome eighteen-year-old.
Countless men coveted Huai Yue, but he was only interested in men who didn’t love him.
Once he got what he wanted, he lost interest. And he couldn’t be bothered to spare a thought for anyone who confessed to him.
The best way to keep someone like that close was to approach him as prey.
And as it happened, pretending was Xi Zongying’s greatest talent.
They were made for each other.
Please add my upcoming novel "After Marrying My Childhood Friend by Contract" to your reading list!
Shan Wei and Rong Huaiyan had grown up together. Rong Huaiyan had always been attentive and considerate, ready to grant Shan Wei’s every wish.
Even when it came to something as significant as a business marriage, Rong Huaiyan agreed after only a brief moment of surprise.
*
Rong Huaiyan had been secretly in love with Shan Wei for years, but Shan Wei hated being pursued by men. All Rong Huaiyan could do was bury his unspoken feelings deep in his heart.
He had already prepared himself to stay by Shan Wei’s side as a friend for the rest of his life. He never expected Shan Wei to offer him the chance himself.
*
Just after they got married, Shan Wei discovered a serious problem:
His Yan-ge had always been an upright gentleman, and was terrible at lying and acting. Their families had already started to suspect they hadn’t married for love.
Shan Wei tugged at his Yan-ge and chattered away. “When we’re out, we have to act closer. We need people to think we’re madly in love. Got it?”
His Yan-ge looked a little confused. “Um... What exactly should we do?”
Shan Wei: “You don’t know how to do the wedding kiss? It’s fine, I’ll teach you. Come on, open your mouth...”
Shan Wei: “You don’t know how to do a close dance at the gala? It’s fine, I’ll teach you. Put your hand on my waist. Don’t be shy. A little lower... Yes, that’s it!”
Shan Wei thought his Yan-ge learned everything quickly. Under his tutelage, he was making incredible progress.
One day, Rong Huaiyan suddenly pushed Shan Wei down on the bed and leaned over him. “Shh, your little brother is eavesdropping outside. We don’t want to give ourselves away.”
Shan Wei played along at once, wrapping his arms around Rong Huaiyan’s neck and whispering in his ear, “You’re pretty quick on the uptake, Ge. Go ahead, but I haven’t taught you this one yet. Do you know how?”
And then...
“Huh? Is my little brother still eavesdropping? How long has he been there? Hasn’t he left yet?”
“Huh? Yan-ge, your hand is touching my... Ah, stop... Do you really have to make the act this convincing?”
“Rong Huaiyan? You’re acting weird. You... You’re taking advantage of me! Waaaah, let go of me...”
More or less a heartbreaking story about “teaching a horny guy to use me as his practice.”
