He Won the Campus Heartthrob Over with His Goofiness

Everyone knows that Ji Xingqiao, the new transfer student, and Gu Wenchen, the campus heartthrob, can't stand each other.

When the chatterbox Ji Xingqiao is facing Gu Wenchen: He's got nothing to say.

When the aloof Gu Wenchen catches sight of Ji Xingqiao: He's got way too much to say.

Their already rocky relationship completely fell apart after Gu Wenchen deliberately sabotaged Ji Xingqiao into wearing a pair of high-waisted women's long johns.

Ji Xingqiao gritted his teeth. "Gu the Dog and I are sworn enemies!"

That very night, they moved into the same dorm room.

In less than a week, Gu Wenchen had climbed into his bed.

In less than a month, Gu Wenchen had carried him into a hotel.

At the hotel, drunk Ji Xingqiao clung to Gu Wenchen. "Don't go. When you're not here... I feel like I'm going to die."

Watching Ji Xingqiao let his true feelings slip while drunk, Gu Wenchen's heart melted. He had never imagined that he already meant as much to Ji Xingqiao as life itself...

Later, whenever they were apart for a while, Ji Xingqiao would all but hang off him the moment they met again.

Gu Wenchen smiled faintly. Sure enough, a short separation makes a reunion even sweeter.

Until one time, they were apart longer than ever before, and Ji Xingqiao grew so pale and weak he could barely function.

Only then did Gu Wenchen realize that Ji Xingqiao might not have been exaggerating when he said those words...

Luo Chu and Zuo Suci have never gotten along. Luo Chu thinks Zuo Suci is too domineering and unreasonable, while Zuo Suci thinks Luo Chu is too delicate and high-maintenance.

Before college begins, Luo Chu's family worries that living alone won't be good for his health.

The two families quickly agree to have Luo Chu move into the apartment Zuo Suci rents.

Luo Chu says slowly, "...Maybe we shouldn't."

Zuo Suci frowns. "I'm not used to living with someone so delicate. It's a pain."

Their first day living together

Seeing Luo Chu's porcelain-white fingers reddened from carrying his luggage, Zuo Suci presses his thin lips together. Without a word, he takes all of Luo Chu's bags and strides ahead. "Keep up. If you get lost, don't expect me to come looking for you."

Once they're inside, Zuo Suci points to the house rules on the wall and says sternly, "Read them carefully and memorize them. The first rule is especially important: we have to give each other enough space and freedom. Don't forget that!"

One month living together

Zuo Suci sits upright on the sofa, calling Luo Chu as he watches the clock. His tone is faintly reproachful. "Luo Chu, I gave you too much freedom. It's eight o'clock already. Why aren't you back yet?"

Luo Chu replies, bewildered, "Don't the house rules say we have until ten at night?"

Zuo Suci argues his case. "Th-that's the summer schedule! It's National Day today, so we're switching to the winter schedule starting now. Hurry back, okay?"

Six months living together

Zuo Suci hugs Luo Chu, fresh and soft from his shower, and buries his face in him. "Luoluo, want to sleep in my room tonight?"

Blushing, Luo Chu hides in Zuo Suci's arms. "But... the house rules say we can't go into each other's rooms."

Zuo Suci wants to kill his past self for writing those stupid rules. He leans close to Luo Chu's ear and whispers enticingly, "Those rules were for living together. Now we're cohabiting. Understand?"
