After working as an idle civil servant at the Bureau of Non-Natural Beings for years, Shi Jin hears that the bureau is hiring. Shi Jin didn't expect the other man to be so unimpressed, so he explains again:

"Anything natural science can't deal with falls within my purview."

No one knows that Qu Yihuai has someone hidden in his heart.

That person saved him from danger twice many years ago and changed the course of his life, but then erased his memories each time. His childhood admiration and the feelings he developed as a teenager were carefully tucked away, until that person walked into his life again.

"Oh." When he looks up again, his eyes are as still as a quiet lake. He casually fishes some change from his pocket. "Then tell my fortune in love?"
