I've Had Enough

The first time she saw Xi Xingxu, Ou Nier knew she was done for. He was the dream she longed for in the quiet of night, the distant light she could never reach in a dark mire, a god she yearned for but could never have.

Xi Xingxu was a young master adored by everyone, a heaven-blessed prodigy whom all admired. He wore watches worth millions, was chauffeured around by bodyguards in limited-edition luxury cars, and effortlessly ranked first in the whole school. From head to toe, even every strand of his hair was as exquisite as a perfectly cut, priceless diamond. She was only a vain, hypocritical classmate living in a cramped rental apartment.

Even the badges pinned to their uniforms were worlds apart.

Ou Nier had always thought her feelings for Xi Xingxu were doomed to be an unrequited love, destined to end without a word. The secret, frenzied tremors she felt would stay hidden in the shadows, never to be known by anyone.

Ou Nier had also always thought Xi Xingxu saw her as an ordinary classmate. At least, that's what she believed until he pinned her fiercely in his arms and bit her.

It was the first time she had seen an emotion other than gentleness on his face. Those piano-playing hands gripped her waist. He didn't smile. With his nose pressed against hers, he spoke the coldest words in the most intimate manner:

"Nini, I've held back for long enough."

A hedgehog girl who thinks she's a master schemer × a sickly young master who plays the innocent while waiting for the hedgehog girl to take the bait
