Marguerites in Bloom

If Zhou Qinsheng's girlhood were written as a book, the name Yan Cong would appear on every page.

That name held all the secret joys of her youth, and all the careful pretense of being tough as she tried to protect them.

That lasted until the night of her coming-of-age ceremony.

The young man's lazy yet refined features carried a gentle smile. His words were considerate and tender, but what he said was as cold as permafrost.

"Qinsheng, you haven't met enough people yet to know what kind of person is right for you."

All her heart-flutters and feelings were cut short at once.

Two years later, in the night of Shengzhou, Yan Cong blocked her path. For the first time, a hint of fierce determination crept into the peach-blossom eyes that always seemed to smile at everyone.

"Make a list of everything he did for you. I'll do every bit of it again."

"No matter how many people you meet, I'm still the one who's right for you."

A secret crush is a field of daisies growing everywhere. I pick every flower in the field, then pluck off the final petal and say, "You love me."

A little story about two people who go from unrequited love to loving each other.

Yan Cong X Zhou Qinsheng

A companion story to The Sun, the Moon, and You

I don't know how long this will be. If it's short, I won't put it behind a paywall.
