I'm the Strategy Card Drawn in an Otome Game

Shaluo is terminally ill and has little time left when, one day, she finds herself inside a Western fantasy romance game. The game's heroine can draw all kinds of love interests from the gacha pool, including the ascetic God of Light, the arrogant God of Darkness, the brooding Demon God, the cold-hearted Sea God, the seductive God of Desire, the otherworldly Elven God... And Shaluo, unfortunately, becomes one of the cards the heroine draws. Shaluo: Slowly types a question mark. System: "Play every character card well, and we'll cure your terminal illness." To survive, Shaluo has no choice but to begin her life disguised as a man. She accompanies the heroine to watch the stars and the moon, from the Temple of Light to the Elven Forest. Every single deity is being played by her. At last, after playing all the character cards, Shaluo is about to leave the game world. The System says, "The heroine's affection for you is maxed out. Are you sure you want to leave?" Shaluo: "Sorry, I'm straight. I'm just carrying out my mission." The System adds, "Here's some bad news: the heroine can see your affection level." Shaluo has a bad feeling about this. The System: "Your affection level is too low. She's gone dark." Shaluo: "????????" Looking at the palace with its doors and windows locked tight, Shaluo thinks she's probably the first love interest ever imprisoned by a darkened game heroine. But no need to panic. She still has one last trump card. Cool as can be, Shaluo reveals her secret identity to the game's heroine. "Look, I'm a woman." The heroine gazes at Shaluo's frail face, the corner of her mouth suddenly curling into a faint, cryptic smile: "I know. This is a game world." Shaluo is stunned. Her lashes tremble, betraying her panic. Then her expression shifts to one of astonishment, as if she'd witnessed something that shocked the whole family. "And I'm a player. My true identity is the Lord of the Abyss." The game heroine's voice turns low and eerily husky as his deep, beautiful face comes into view. #The heroine of this romance game was supposed to be a woman, so why did she turn into an Abyssal Evil God?# #The gods were all my secret identities.
