A virus called “Love-Brain” invaded the world, causing thousands of people to mutate.
The mutated people gained a new trait. Some turned into clingy sycophants, constantly fussing over their love interests. Some turned into sharks who liked to bite during intimate moments. Others became spiders, wrapping people up and keeping them in their webs.
The infected were quarantined in mobile cabin hospitals and forbidden from contacting outsiders, to prevent them from harming ordinary people.
Fu Xiyou was unlucky enough to get infected. He was diagnosed at a late stage, with no hope of a cure.
Then one day, he awakened a System.
The System told him he could escape this cage by saving people with Love-Brain.
And so Fu Xiyou began a bumpy journey of rescue.
Patient A, who had mutated into a clingy sycophant, decided after being saved to turn the tables, fawn over several people, and give himself plenty of options.
Patient C, who had mutated into a spider, decided after being saved to put his webs to use, start a side business, and achieve financial freedom by knitting sweaters.
Patient B, who had mutated into a shark, decided after being saved to bite off half of her scumbag boyfriend’s face on the spot and make him pay dearly.
…
To protect their human rights, the patients formed a resistance group and planned to negotiate with the authorities.
As the savior who had repeatedly rescued people with Love-Brain from dire straits, Fu Xiyou was naturally chosen to sit at the negotiating table.
The authorities sent a strikingly handsome man with sharp brows and bright eyes. His expression was grave, and he parted his thin lips to ask Fu Xiyou to state his terms.
After staring at him for a while, Fu Xiyou suddenly couldn’t suppress his true nature. With all eyes on him, he spread his beautiful peacock tail.
“Hello. Marry me.”

The infected stared blankly for several seconds, then collectively broke down: “Dude! Get a grip!”
Fu Xiyou felt wronged: “It can’t be helped. You can’t hide that you like someone. Even if you cover your mouth, your tail will still stick up.”
