Lu Weirui, a well-known Call of Cthulhu tabletop role-playing streamer, is dragged into a real-life game. Here, having your character sheet torn up means death, the truth means madness, humanity is as insignificant as dust, and everything is chaotic and uncanny.
After finishing the beginner scenario, Lu Weirui discovers that the game's credits can actually be exchanged for wealth in the real world.

But the deity he accidentally charmed in the beginner scenario appears in every scenario he takes part in.
When a player encounters a Dark Young of Shub-Niggurath:
Other players: 'Holy crap, it's a Dark Young! Run!'
Lu Weirui, utterly confident: 'Hey, honey! Did you bring the kids to see me again?'
Lu Weirui: Even though I can charm the Black Goat, rip Deep Ones apart with my bare hands, and kick Byakhee, I know I'm a good investigator.
Reader's guide:
1. The rules are based on the seventh-edition rulebook, but there are a great many changes, simplifications, and original rules. Don't try to force the rulebook onto it.
2. This is about Call of Cthulhu tabletop role-playing, but it's not scary at all, because the author is a scaredy-cat.
3. Evil god top x tabletop RPG streamer bottom. Neither is remotely normal, and there are nonhuman elements, so proceed with caution.
4. Since this is a novel, there will be disruptive player antics. Adorable readers, when you play, be sure to discuss things with your KP and don't cause trouble.
5. The author is socially anxious and sensitive, so they don't read comments. Feel free to leave criticism or flowers. If you can't keep reading, don't force yourself.
