Remembering the Names of Ghosts

A long time separates 2012 from 1912.

It is far more than the simple notion of a century.

They met many people and witnessed many events. Like all things that seem human and inhuman, after shining brightly in their own era, they were sealed away in the river of history, left to be swallowed by its undercurrents.

In time, they, too, would become part of it.
