Scene 1

Qin Beibei, selling things at a stall for the first time, VS Chu Yan, buying street food for the first time

Qin Beibei, enthusiastically drumming up business: "Hey, handsome, want some boiled corn? It's really sweet."

Chu Yan: "Why didn't you peel the corn?"

Qin Beibei smiled and peeled it for him.

Chu Yan, displeased: "The corn I eat comes cut into pieces. And you weren't wearing gloves just now."

Qin Beibei's smile slowly turned feral.

Driver: "A Yan, what made you decide to buy street food?"

Chu Yan: "She called me handsome."

Scene 2

Qin Beibei thinks Chu Yan is about to jump off a building VS Chu Yan thinks Qin Beibei is suffocating

Qin Beibei pretends to be dead to save someone, and Chu Yan immediately gives her mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. Neither of them has their first kiss anymore.

They stare at each other in a daze. "That was my first kiss."

Chu Yan stammers, "Th-that was my first kiss too. I was trying to save you."

"I was trying to save you too."

"Have you ever heard that you repay a life-saving debt by giving yourself to your savior? You have to take responsibility for me!"

Scene 3

Cousin: "Brother Chu Yan, could you help me fill out my college application?"

Chu Yan, completely serious: "That's important. You have to decide for yourself. No one else can do it for you."

Meanwhile, Qin Beibei posts on Weibo: What college should I apply to with a score of 439 on the college entrance exam? I'd prefer a bachelor's program.

Chu Yan immediately gets fired up, flipping through guidebooks and comparing colleges.

Cousin: Weren't you just saying I had to decide for myself?

Simply put, this is a story about a highly intelligent rich second-generation man meeting a hardworking rich first-generation woman.
