In her first year after arriving in Nanpu, Jiang Yang meets Su Zhiyang, a boy around her age.
By chance, she learns about the ugliness beneath the surface of this favored son of heaven.
Their similar family situations bring them together, and before they know it, Jiang Yang and Su Zhiyang have grown closer and closer.
