I Found True Love After Going Blind [Jujutsu Kaisen]

After unexpectedly losing her sight, Marihui met a boyfriend while in the hospital. He was outgoing and lively, yet gentle and considerate. He told her he was hospitalized because of a facial injury.

Marihui ran her fingers over his face, crisscrossed with stitches, and love washed over her like a tide.

Then she discovered that nobody else could see her boyfriend. People also kept disappearing from the hospital without explanation, and the gifts he gave her carried a chilling aura...

Her boyfriend continued to gently stroke her face.

In Marihui's hometown, women who act as spirit mediums are called "Ichiko."

After fleeing back to her rural hometown in the middle of the night, Marihui inherited her family's shrine and reunited with a friend she had been separated from since childhood. Then, one day, two strange girls came to her, hoping she could help them find their family's souls.

"His name is Suguru Geto."

That was the name of her childhood friend.

◆ The boyfriend at the hospital is a real person, while the friend back home is the already-deceased Suguru Geto.

◆ In my headcanon, Marihui is descended from the demon woman Litao. She is not only a spirit medium, but also inherited the ability to fire clay dolls and bring people back to life.

Theme: True love comes from a heart of honesty and acceptance.
