A Dashing Lover

The soft, crimson hues of late autumn

are like a glass of melancholy red wine.

Its intoxicating fragrance and tart bitterness mingle in my heart.

I want to wait until everyone has left the beach,

then walk barefoot by the sea,

gathering autumn's joys and sorrows.

To become an hourglass that cannot hold on to sadness.

I want to walk along the autumn shore,

and feel the bleakness of fall beneath the charming, many-faced sun.

Fine sand brushes past my toes, warm and gentle,

telling of a conspiracy in the name of love.

Love is not all I have,

at least autumn will stay by my side.

I raise a glass to the autumn moon.

I sing over my wine: what have I to grieve?

What have I to grieve?

I'm still me, just writing under a different pen name, hehe~!~!^_^
