[Note: This is a side story about a second male lead from my previous novel, Ebb Tide. He pursued the heroine of that novel a few years ago.]
She spent all her time practicing in the dance studio. She had no friends, no social life, and was almost completely cut off from the world. She barely spoke a word.
Sometimes people came to see her brother, but they never even caught a glimpse of her. They assumed he was the only one living in the house.
She never went out of her way to greet anyone,
because she was withdrawn and afraid of people.
Until one day, a man blocked her path at the dance studio entrance and gently cornered her. "Call me Brother Yan, and I'll let you go."
The man wore an off-white hoodie, a dazzling ray of light. With no warning at all, he pierced her dim, lifeless world.
She didn't even dare look at him for long.
Behind his ear, a little tuft of yellow hair curled up just as boldly as the smile at the corner of his mouth. His gentleness was mixed with a hint of wild possessiveness.
At that moment, her heart began to race.
Theme: Live for yourself.
Wow, the writing is so good
