Starlight in Broad Daylight

When Yun Ran was eighteen, she had a crush on Shi Yue from the school next door.

Unfortunately, she couldn't win him over.

But even without love, she still had her dreams.

Yun Ran worked hard and became a somewhat well-known screenwriter.

At the peak of her career, her best friend tricked her into joining a dating show, where her partner turned out to be none other than Shi Yue.

Yun Ran: A plant.

By then, Shi Yue had become a top voice actor with countless fans. He was even called the nation's husband.

But apparently, he had a white moonlight of his own.

After cautiously sounding him out, Yun Ran realized he didn't remember her anymore.

Well, who would remember an insignificant secret admirer from their teenage years?

And then...

She started getting invited over to Shi Yue's place for meals every few days.

Yun Ran felt something was off. "Maybe I shouldn't come over today?"

Shi Yue: "I made [menu] today."

Yun Ran felt a little embarrassed, but Shi Yue's cooking was just that good!

Besides...

Shi Yue looked even more handsome when he was cooking!
