New series, The 1970s: I Work as a Chef at a State-Owned Factory, now serializing.
Synopsis 1:
Yu Aibao transmigrates into a beautiful cannon-fodder character in a period novel. Still young, she has a mother-in-law above her and a daughter-in-law below her, and becomes a grandmother in her twenties.
Faced with this complicated family, she only does four things in her life:
She scares her mother-in-law into behaving, stops her nephew from causing trouble, ships her daughter-in-law off, and makes life wonderful.
In short, all she wants is to live her life in peace. Nobody else should get involved!
Synopsis 2:
When Zhou Huaisheng was young, he had an accident and adopted a son and a daughter who were both less than ten years younger than him. As a result, despite his good looks, he still hasn't found a suitable marriage partner by the age of twenty-eight.
Fortunately, Zhou Huaisheng may be useless, but his mother isn't.
Mrs. Zhou carefully chose an excellent daughter-in-law and gave her everything she had, showing her full sincerity.
She figured that since the girl was well-educated, smart, and beautiful, even if she couldn't get her dense son under control, she could at least improve the family's genes for the next generation.
What pleased her most was that the girl was born lucky with money. As soon as they got engaged, her family became rich, earning far more than the bride price!
But when the new bride finally entered the house, Mrs. Zhou realized she'd been duped.
The new bride was delicate and spoiled. She couldn't do housework or cook, slept late in the morning and stayed up all night, loved snacks and looking pretty, and even wanted to hire a maid to wait on her!
Mrs. Zhou dropped a few subtle hints, but the new bride was sweet and agreeable, promising to change without ever doing so. It was infuriating.
For the sake of family harmony, Mrs. Zhou quietly hypnotized herself: She's lucky with money! She's lucky with money! She's lucky with money!
A few years later, the Zhou family had moved from a tiny run-down house to a mansion, bought a car, hired a maid, and started collecting rent.
Someone who didn't know the truth tried to sow discord: "Why do you put up with your daughter-in-law so much? She practically walks all over you!"
Mrs. Zhou glared. "Don't be ridiculous. That's no daughter-in-law. She's my own daughter!"
A bold, chaotic, troublesome, sharp-tongued heroine with a double standard x a gullible, lovesick immortal who thinks everyone is slandering his wife
Age gap: The man is five years older.
The heroine's motto: Set aside your standards and enjoy a shameless life.
New serial, The 1970s: I Work as a Chef at a State-Owned Factory: A wolf among sheep, pampered as if she were a lamb.
Synopsis:
Private chef Ming Yuezhao has barely transmigrated before she faces the urgent prospect of being sent to the countryside.
There are four children in her blended family, and she's the only one without a father or a mother's love.
Her stepbrother has landed a proper job, taking the position from the original owner's biological mother.
Her stepsister found a boyfriend and got married, stealing the original owner's fiance.
Her younger stepbrother is still a child, but the family has already started pulling strings to arrange a job for him, using the original owner's savings.
The original owner, left with nothing, jumped into the river in the middle of winter and was rescued. Still sickly, she was bundled up and about to be thrown into the group heading to the countryside. Heartbroken, she couldn't catch her breath and died.
Ming Yuezhao opens her eyes and, despite her illness, goes to find Fu Anhe, a gloomy young man with an eating disorder who lives next door. The two strike a deal: Ming Yuezhao will help improve his appetite, and Fu Anhe will marry her, helping her get through the immediate crisis.
Ming Yuezhao can make the most delicious food from the simplest ingredients. After they get their marriage certificate, Fu Anhe, who had been skin and bones, develops a hearty appetite and steadily gains weight.
But gradually he realizes something is off. Ming Yuezhao's cooking is wildly inconsistent, and after watching her closely, he discovers that her mood affects how well she cooks.
When she's unhappy, the food she makes is absolutely awful.
The worst part is that Ming Yuezhao always gets upset over things but is too timid to stand up for herself. When she gets angry, she takes it out on his and the factory canteen workers' tongues, either barely putting any food in their trays or shaking the ladle until there's almost nothing left.
So when his mother-in-law steals his wife's things, Fu Anhe steals from his younger brother-in-law, scaring him at the intersection he passes every day on his way to and from school.
When his sister-in-law parades his wife's former fiance in front of them, the factory workers put a sack over the scumbag's head late at night.
When his brother-in-law slanders his wife, several factory managers take turns making his life difficult.
Their chef is timid and weak, so of course they all have to protect her.
Ming Yuezhao has had a fierce temper and antisocial tendencies since childhood. Her family named her Ming Yuezhao, hoping she would cultivate her character, and raised her to immerse herself in cooking from a young age to calm her mind.
But her cruelty is part of her nature, and it's hard to change. Whenever she gets angry, she has to clamp down on her temper until the veins bulge and her hands tremble. She shakes so much that the salt and sugar end up in the food, and when she serves it, only a few pieces make it into the bowl.
Every time she holds herself back to the point where she thinks she's about to snap and do something bad, someone helps her deal with the problem. They may go a little too easy and lack nerve, but when she sees them looking up at her with shining eyes, waiting for praise, and sees the troublemakers furious and frustrated, the anger inside Ming Yuezhao gradually fades.
Maybe she's not so angry anymore after all.
Theme: The strong don't complain about their circumstances. They change them.
I don't understand the meaning of this story. It seems like the heroine's behavior is a joke.
It feels like a trap, completing tasks has turned into an endless cycle of a life of suffering and a life of tasks. Both the male and female protagonists were stabbed.
Woohoo, how could anyone leave the knife behind at the end, huh? Ah? ! Ah!
So this is reincarnation, it keeps repeating, I feel so sorry for Aibo
Congratulations (^ω^)?? Completed
Damn, I want to read the book about Paper Man's Girlfriend.
The last two chapters were so painful to read
Woo woo woo woo woo, I still want to see the follow-up
Woo woo woo woo woo, I still want to see the follow-up
Ding~Business fluid blessing update is stress-free!
