Zhuo Yingqiu was once the eldest daughter of an immortal sect. But because of her innate spiritual root, she was reduced to a cultivation cauldron. Her parents died because of her, and soon after, her sect was destroyed.
Still a little girl, Zhuo Yingqiu was kidnapped by an evil sect and locked in a cage in the back mountains. They planned to wait until she grew into a young woman and had achieved some cultivation, then marry her off to the sect's young master. Her talent and her life would pave his easy road to the peak.
Powerless to fight back, Zhuo Yingqiu grew up in the evil sect's back mountains, hatred in her heart. She sharpened her knife every day and was always plotting her escape.
Finally, just as she was about to come of age and be handed over to the young master, the evil sect's many misdeeds caught up with them. A powerful cultivator passing by smashed the place to pieces.
The powerful cultivator casually picked up little unlucky Zhuo Yingqiu, then kept her by his side because she was the unluckiest one in the crowd and he couldn't find anyone else to take her in.
"I'm not from this world, you know~" the flamboyant powerful cultivator told her with a smiling face. "I know a cultivation method that will stop people from treating you like a cultivation cauldron. Want to learn it?"
Zhuo Yingqiu looked at his handsome, not entirely trustworthy face and immediately dropped to her knees, banging her head against the ground three times.
From then on, she had a master.
Her master also had a good friend who was her martial uncle. The two were powerful Immortal Venerables from the same place, and they took Zhuo Yingqiu all over the land of the cultivation world.
Naturally, Zhuo Yingqiu was curious about what Immortal Venerables from outside the cultivation world were doing in this dark, broken place. Her master and martial uncle indulged her, so she could ask whatever she wanted.
"Because the cultivation world may be doomed before long. The apocalypse, Qiuqiu, have you heard of it?" Her flamboyant master was always smiling. "We're here to see how it falls apart, and to try to keep it from being destroyed in one fell swoop."
The immortal sects had ruined Zhuo Yingqiu's family and life, so she didn't have much of a reaction.
"You don't seem very surprised." Her master smiled and patted her head. "What did you expect us to do when we came to the cultivation world, Qiuqiu?"
"Smash the dark mountain crushing the people of the cultivation world?"
Zhuo Yingqiu asked tentatively, thinking her master would scold her. Instead, he clapped.
"Well said!" Her master gave her a thumbs-up. "That's a great ambition. You're truly my disciple. But you have to make your own wish come true. Keep it up, Qiuqiu!"
***Author's Notes and Content Warnings***
A traditional cultivation-web-novel setting, with all kinds of outdated inherited tropes. The world is entirely fictional overall, so please don't expect historical accuracy.
The male lead comes from a modern high-magic world, with a Western fantasy feel. He's blond because of his race, and because his world has achieved cultural and ethnic equality and integration. I chose this setup because I'm lazy, not because I mean to compare it unfavorably with traditional culture.
(The cultivation world, where the strong prey on the weak, isn't exactly representative of traditional culture either.)
Long-form story, BG, HE, master-disciple pairing.
Theme: Smash the dark, antiquated cultivation world
Big [crying] [crying] What would I do without your writing, wuwuwu, I really like the world view of the gods so much [crying] [crying] [crying] Can you write forever, why don't I have a small amount of money, I miss you so much [crying] [crying]
Rouse, here I come——
Coming from "The Princess and the Witch", I feel that this book by Routh has made great progress and the plot rhythm is more comfortable. The collision between the original world view and this dark cultivation worldview can make Routh's original setting more prominent!
I really like this lengthy path-finding part. The most important thing about the infrastructure revolution article is to explain the concept, how it emerged, how it was integrated with local concepts, and how everyone's behavior changed. Come on Qiuqiu, the future will get better and better.
However, this book already has more than one million words, and it feels like it will be longer than the next one. I don't know when it will be finished. I really want to gain weight and read it in one sitting!
When will this article be finished? [Panda Head]
Laifa's dark history, I remember it even made the headlines on the obesity section of the newspaper hahaha...
Big! ! ! [Crying] [Crying] Ball, you! ! ! Be sure to continue updating! ! ! You got it! ! ! What you wrote is really very good
I'm curious about the mental state of the strategist in a real sense... And it's been too long since I watched The Princess and the Witch. Who are the leaders of Woz and Ceci?
No, no, Rouse's writing is very good. It's a chapter that will make you feel happy as soon as you read it. You will definitely be happy when you reread it during the Spring Festival [Lop-eared Rabbit Head]
Tied 😭 I'm looking forward to the following stories. I didn't want to jump into the trap when I first saw that this book was still being updated slowly. But the Princess and the Witch book was so exciting that I couldn't help but accidentally opened it, and then I couldn't stop. 😭 I really like this kind of story with a large and rich world view structure. When I saw that the Imperial Master is also an outsider, I really felt... Wow...
Everybody loves furries! I miss Lefa's big golden tail~
~Hey, I haven't seen you for a long time, Your Majesty
