Possessed by Both the God of Luck and the Unlucky One

In every generation of the Xie family, one descendant is born an "odd one out." They are extraordinarily beautiful, but their fortunes are strange: sometimes they're spectacularly unlucky, and sometimes the gods smile on them. The family calls this unusual condition "Dual Souls, One Body Syndrome." On the day Xie Daoqing turned eighteen, the first signs of the condition appeared. But that's not the point. The point is that the condition has one fatal weakness: For a few days each month, she finds herself in someone else's body. Sometimes it's a sickly, blind heir to a wealthy family. Sometimes it's a girl with paralyzed legs and a peculiar personality. And then there are the more unusual occasions, like this one: She's currently in a murderer's body. Reader's guide: 1. A goofy, supernatural mystery (?), full of occult elements, that you can read without thinking too hard. 2. One-on-one romance, happy ending. Theme: Only by staying true to yourself, holding on to your original aspirations, and keeping your heart sincere can you ultimately earn the devotion of others.
